standing ovation!
And now I can see how the squonk works. From an earlier post I was confused how it would work with the bottle but thought best to keep quiet and just wait for the updates.
Stunning doobedoobedoo. The new owner will surely be pleased.

Be happy to Charlie, if by mech you mean LiPo/mosfet

.
I'm a bit busy with the SS and wood Dinos at the moment. I put this together while I was waiting for the resin for the windows to set. The resin I got takes a week to fully harden, but sets crystal clear.

theory meets reality.
I always assumed the bottle needed some space to expand into for it to squonk correctly...as you push the bottle, it deforms.....you have a cage around your bottle of sorts. Does it squonk well? If it does, then I can adjust my theory on squonking a bit:-)
P.S. thread moved to "Exhibition Hall" sub-forum

Stopping the bottle's expansion is fine so long as it's soft enough, which these are. There is a tiny bit of flex in the sides of the holder as they are made from 1mm ply (available from good model shops).
It squonks fine, but I may get some slightly wider bore tube as it's a very tight fit on the 510.
